I gotta tell ya, I love New York, in small doses.
We, Mary, Gretta, Reka (our Japanese exchange student) and I went on a whirlwind trip to NYC to see Danielle graduate from the Pratt Design Institute in Brooklyn, NY. We left at 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon and were back at 8:30 Sunday night. We got there on Thursday afternoon and took the Staten Island Ferry, went to Times Square, and out to dinner. Friday we went to Danielle's graduation, lunch at Jerry's, and a Yankee game. Saturday we went to the Brooklyn Home Depot, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, shopping, lunch, more shopping, a double decker bus tour, and pizza for dinner. Sunday we got up early, stopped by Danielle's apartment to say goodbye, and drove home. We were back home at 8:30.
